Beginner Series

  • SERIES 1

    Pole Fitness Kingston offers a series one class; this class series is mandatory for all first-time pole fitness participants. It will provide a solid introduction to the basic pole techniques from grips, positioning, pole spins and allow you to gain the proper strength training on the pole necessary for you to move onto the next level. This 60-minute class includes; warm-up and stretching, simple pole moves, spins, floor work which are all combined to create an easy-to-learn routine for all abilities.

  • SERIES 2

    Pole Fitness Kingston's series 2 class is for those who have graduated from the pole foundations classes and is done in sequence with Series 1 class. This class is perfect for those who want to progress beyond the beginner level, master the basics of pole, and begin learning the foundational building blocks required for the next level of pole fitness. This class includes more difficult pole spins, static holds, and kicks, each focused on improving flexibility, strength and coordination on the pole. You will be surprised at how much fun you have and how empowered you feel!

  • SERIES 3

    As you reach Pole Fitness Kingston's Series 3 class, you will feel stronger and more confident about your abilities on the pole. Pole fitness Series 3 will build on the basic skills taught in Series 1 & 2 while adding new challenges through intermediate-level pole moves. Students will learn preliminary movements, including aerial holds on the pole, basic invert techniques, handstands and swing combinations that will turn your world upside down. These moves will help students improve on gaining proper techniques and controlling body movement on and around the pole while discovering the athletic and artistic form of pole dance.

    *Pre-requisite for Series 3: Climbing

Intermediate Series

  • SERIES 4

    On completion of Pole Fitness Kingston's Series 3 class, students who wish to continue to build their strength and endurance needed for the more advanced series learn new segments of moves with various entries and transitional moves to create sequences. Series 4 takes you to a higher level with more advanced lifts, hand grips and challenging variations of more complex inverts and aerial hangs. In Series 4, students will be challenged in many aspects of their mind and body through balance, flexibility, confidence, strength and creativity in order to master and combine various moves.

    *Pre-requisite for Series 4: Inverting

  • SERIES 5

    Now that you have mastered Pole Fitness Kingston's Series 4 class, it is time to progress and master those beginner tricks and spins with ease. Our Series 5 class will help you work on your pole strength, stamina and skills to ensure you can safely progress into the advanced series. It is time to bridge the beginner and intermediate moves with smooth transitions and more complex pole moves.

    *Pre-requisite for Series 5: Must be comfortable with inverting, chopper, inside/outside leg hangs

  • SERIES 6

    While you continue to build your strength and stamina on the pole, our Series 6 class introduces more difficult inverted tricks along with more fun spin combinations. A strong core and upper strength are essential in this course as you will learn to focus on major pivot and resistance points to build on those muscles needed to perform new tricks and aerial suspensions on the pole. What once seemed impossible will become possible!

  • SERIES 7

    As you continue to build your endurance on the pole, our Series 7 class will continue to test your strength and push your flexibility. This Pole Fitness Kingston class will showcase highly technical pole moves, advanced floor work and help you feel the empowerment pole can create. Having built up the strength from completing the previous series, you will feel like a real pole acrobat pulling off moves such as shoulder mounts, extended holds, reversed combinations, and complex spins. You will WOW yourself and your peers on completion of this level.

Advanced Series

  • SERIES 8

    Pole Fitness Kingston's Series 8 class is your introduction to advanced pole courses that offer training designed to challenge each student in an advanced learning, fun and high-energy environment. The techniques taught will focus on improving all aspects of Pole Art, Dance, and Fitness involving; balance, flexibility, endurance, and strength with particular emphasis on acrobatics, fluidity and grace through building on your ability to link several tricks into your routine.

  • SERIES 9

    Pole Fitness Kingston Series 9 class continues to encourage and safely teach you gravity-defying moves in more ways than one as you learn an array of move variations, combinations, holds and spins. As you continue to master the skills you have learned, you will further tone and define your body, reaching a new level of pole fit!

  • SERIES 10

    Pole Fitness Kingston's Series 10 class is for those who have mastered all of the intermediate and advanced pole tricks taught and want to work on putting everything together seamlessly. The focus will be on fluidity between transitional moves and learning to create your flow and graceful routines. If you have not already, it's time to find your FREESTYLE!
