Our Team

“The instructors are so encouraging; I really enjoyed learning from people that absolutely love what they're teaching. I've wanted to try pole fitness for a long time and this is such a great place to get started!”

  • Kendal Bradburn

Kendal is the owner and founder of Pole Fitness Kingston. She is a mother of two and is always training for the next adventure. Her pole fitness journey started in Ottawa in 2011. On moving to Kingston she wanted to help cultivate a pole community and decided there was a serious need for a pole studio. Kendal appreciates the various aspects of pole and how it incorporates strength, flexibility, coordination, dance and challenges people of any age, gender or background to take their skill and fitness level to new heights. More importantly she enjoys witnessing how pole fitness empowers women and men, to build on their self-awareness, confidence and health overall. She is PFIC Pole certified and encourages Kingstonites and those living beyond to come into the studio to try a drop-in class. You won’t regret it.

I enjoy weight lifting, swimming and spending time outdoors. I hope to create a safe and empowering space for other like minded people to achieve their goals!

  • Chelsea Publow

Chelsea has felt at home with PFK since her pole fitness journey began in March 2021. Over a decade of competitive dance has equipped her with the strength, body awareness, and grace she applies to her pole training. She is excited to find her style and express herself through choreography and heelwork. Chelsea adores how pole fitness promotes the physical, mental, and social dimensions of health and well-being. She looks forward to supporting and learning alongside her peers in the pole community.

  • Amelia Potts

Amelia has over a decade of experience competing in artistic gymnastics and later transitioned to coaching gymnastics for three years. Ever since beginning pole, she has rekindled her passion for acrobatics and self-expression through movement. She hopes to share her love for splits, handstands, and spins with the Kingston community to promote the physical and mental benefits of pole fitness.

  • Nancy Han

Nancy first came to PFKingston to try an Intro Class as part of a girls' night out. Little did she know that she would discover a whole new version of herself; one with confidence and hidden strength. Instantly hooked, she's been coming to classes ever since.

Pole, for her, is a safe place to let go of anxieties and forget about the world outside of PFKingston for a little bit. Pole has provided Nancy with a positive outlet and an enjoyable way to challenge herself both mentally and physically. She invites you to come fall in love with yourself as you see what amazing things your body can do!

  • Megan Tasse

Megan played competitive sports combined with weight training for most of her life. She struggled heavily with mobility and flexibility, and admired anyone who was graceful or fluid in their movements - particularly yogis, dancers and aerialists. She felt that would never be possible for her, considering she (a) couldn’t touch her toes and (b) was in constant pain and discomfort. She felt defeated and uninspired in fitness. That was until she started her mobility journey and quickly realized how transformative it was for the mind and body. She then discovered pole shortly after - and bam! By combining pole and mobility, she immediately felt that passionate spark. Pole has not only made Megan mobile and fluid in her movement, but it has also made her feel stronger, more confident, determined and inspired. She can’t wait to continue learning as a student, and to help others discover the power of pole as an instructor.

  • Monica Cordeiro

Monica loved dance and everything flexibility growing up! After businesses slowly opened back up in February 2022 following the pandemic, Monica tried pole for the first time and was instantly hooked. It’s a spectacular combination of flow, flexibility, and strength that all gradually comes together and improves with time and commitment while also being a fun way to work out and get active. Getting active is a great way to help mental health and physical health. Monica recommends trying something new and to do it for yourself! Hope to see you at the studio!
